Beulah () is a feminine given name. It is originally a Hebrew word (בְּעוּלָ֑ה ''bə‘ūlāh''), used in the Book of Isaiah as a prophesied attribute of the land of Israel. In the King James version the word is transliterated and also translated as "married", see . An alternative translation is "espoused", see for example (Mechon Mamre). "Beulah" has also been used in literature as the name of a mystical place, somewhere between Earth and Heaven.
